Nathan’s 8th Birthday~ A Minecraft Party…

Nathan is not in the picture 🙂 hmm…

Absolutely loved the cake!!! made by What About Cake?

The Food table was the star of the show…

In case anyone is interested, I used one- two pack package of Fake Grass
for the centerpiece.

The green cake holder, table cloth, and silverware are from Dollar Tree.

The plates and napkins are from a local party store called Display and Costume.

I bought the food labels from Twirl Me Dizzy on Etsy.

Iron Pails are from Hobby Lobby.

Minecraft Brewing Stand (Italian Soda)

I bought the printables from BoomParty on Etsy.

The Green Display board is from Hobby Lobby

I labeled matching potion ingredients (Torani Syrup, Club Soda, Ginger Ale, Sprite, and Half and Half)

Cups are from Display and Costume

I bought these cute chests from Hobby Lobby for potions and a scavenger hunt.

The Potions are bubbles from Dollar Tree (they were awful, I would pick something else) and wrapped them in labels from Twirl Me Dizzy on Etsy.

I bought a Minecraft Scavenger Hunt from DigiCreationsStudio on Etsy. I changed the rules a little bit. My husband hid 5 small chest from Hobby Lobby in the trees at the park. Each child received one home card and one crafting table. Each chest had one of the 5 resources: Wheat seeds, Sugar cane, Cow, Chicken, and Iron Ore. The kids had to go get resources one at a time and glue the pieces on with gluesticks. Then they showed their finished home cards to four different moms who gave them one of the crafting items: Milk, Sugar, Egg, and Wheat and glued them on. They used their recipe for cake (finished crafting table) to get a piece of Nathan’s TNT cake after we sang Happy Birthday to him.

Finally a picture of Nathan. 🙂

Thanks for looking.
